Atari Family Trainer - Wii Fit alternative

Wii Fit will likely be one of the best sellers game for Nintendo this summer, and the concept of fun exercise is very appealing to people and Atari agrees. Atari is releasing its own version of fitness game called Family Trainer.

Rather than using step-on board like Wii Fit, the Family Trainer uses floor mat similar to DDR pad which I personally dislike due to its sliding when you are on hardwood floor or marble.

As for the game itself, Family Trainer features several virtual outdoor challenges such as river rafting, log jumping, and etc. Atari plans to release Family Trainer in Europe this September. No information on pricing yet.
