ASUS ZenPad Z10 with LTE launches as Verizon exclusive

Verizon has announced the launch of the ASUS ZenPad Z10, a tablet exclusively available through the carrier. All things considered, the slate is impressive, boasting a metal unibody, 2k-resolution display, and support for Verizon's 4G LTE network. The ZenPad Z10 won't be available to buy in physical Verizon stores until October 13, but you can order one now from the carrier's website if you're so inclined.

The ZenPad Z10, model number ZT500KL, features a 9.7-inch IPS display with a high QXGA 2048 x 1536 resolution. Under the hood lies a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 Hexa-Core 1.8GHz processor alongside Qualcomm Adreno 510 GPU, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage. Those who need more storage space can add a microSD card with a capacity up to 128GB.

The tablet features the increasingly common USB-C port, as well as a 3.5mm audio jack and a non-removable li-polymer 7800mAh battery. The back of the tablet features an 8-megapixel camera while the front features a larger 5-megapixel unit. Overall, the slate weighs a little over 17 ounces and measures 9.54 x 6.46 x 0.28-inches.

Finally, the Z10 runs Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 alongside ASUS's ZenUI; it's offered only in the Slate Gray color you see above. The tablet costs $329.99 USD outright, but customers can get it under a device payment plan instead for $13.74/month for two years.
