Asus has been known for their motherboards and barebones notebook, but they are no strangers to the LCD monitor market. Asus launched VW198 19-inch LCD monitor with WSXGA+ 1680×1050 resolutions.
The Asus VW198 features high contrast ratio 3000:1, DVI port with HDCP support), and 5ms response time. The monitor has built-in stereo speakers. It has passes the WHQL tests to be certified for Windows Vista Premium version.
The quasi-piano painted and slim front bezel makes the monitor quite stylish. The WV198’s base with concentric-circle lines is detachable for wall mounting.
