So is it confirmed that the TF300T will have 3G/4G?
That is the one main factor which will either lead me to purchase this tablet or not, I really want a Tegra 3 tablet, but it needs to have at least 3G otherwise it won't work for me.

It's more like the original Transformer in the casing design. So probably a bit cheaper to build than the thinner, lighter, and all aluminum uni-body of the Prime. I don't know if it will use the same keyboard dock but that too may help lower the price if that's the case.

While I've heard that the Tegra 3 in it will be clocked a little slower too. Normally each core can clock up to 1.4GHz and drops to 1.3GHz when all 4 cores are fully active but this version should supposedly max out at 1.2GHz with all 4 cores active.

We'll know for sure once it's released, but till then Asus could always change the specs and they have been known to make last minute changes.

I like that they were able to lower the price of the tablet by choosing to change the design materials rather than lowering the specs all crazy. Asus wins again, and this time it's with a tablet that I might actually be able to afford! :)
