ASUS ROG intros slew of gaming gear at Computex

At Computex 2014, ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has introduced all sorts of new hardware for gamers ranging from peripherals to new PCs. Though pricing for the devices hasn't been revealed, nor launch dates for most of the hardware, we've got a run down of the various specs.

As far as gaming machines go, ASUS has taken the wraps off the ROG G20, a gaming desktop harboring an Intel Core i7 processor and GTX 780 graphics. The new GR8, meanwhile, is a console gaming PC likewise offering an Intel Core i7 and GeForce (the GTX 750i, in this case). Rounding it out is the ROG GX500, a gaming laptop that measures in at 19mm in thickness with an Intel Core i7 and GTX 860M under the hood.

Joining the upcoming gaming PCs will be a new mouse and keyboard offering aimed at gamers. The ROG Gladius is an optical wired gaming mouse designed for right-hand gamers with a 6400dpi optical sensor and customization options. Accompanying the Gladius is the ROG GK2000 keyboard offering mechanical Cherry MX Red switches and support for multi-actions for almost all the keys.

For those who dabble into the hardware realm, ASUS plans to introduce a bunch of new motherboards, as well, each bringing their own features targeting the needs of different types of gamers: the ROG Maximus VII Formula, Impact, Crossblade Ranger, and Ares III Water-Cooled graphics card.

Rounding out the batch of gear is the ROG Swift PG278Q gaming monitor, a 27-inch display offering 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution. This is the only product for which ASUS has revealed the launch date (July), though there's no price detailed at this point.
