AAARGH! “American release looks like a long shot at this point.” Say it ain’t so. I’ve been looking forward to this device for ages. IMHO this could be the Android iPad killer that people have been wondering if anyone would ever bring to market. I had to buy my last Asus device (an EeeNote EA-800) direct from Taiwan because Asus killed the US release. I love it much as I love my Asus Ep121 Win 7 tablet. I really hope that the PadFone becomes available here in the US. Asus, are you listening?!

I wish american carriers were a little less greedy and let this phone come to america. I Like the idea a bit more than the execution though. The tablet dock and keyboard seem a little too thick to be practical. If I were to get it, I would only get the tablet dock

Phone market is already oversaturated. We dont need another competitor, we alrwady have 5-6 main players in the market with two top dogs taking 99 percent of.mobile business profits.
