Asus announced the P527 in July earlier this year, and only recently a photo shows up on CNET Asia site. They also posted detail specs of the new smartphone from Asus.

Asus P527 photo and specs unveiled

The Asus P527 has a sleek silver metallic chassis equipped with built-in GPS. The phone features WiFi, Bluetooth, a 2 megapixel camera, touch screen display with resolution of 240 x 320, and FM radio.

It is a quadband phone (GSM850, GSM900, GSM1800, GSM1900) powered by Windows Mobile 6 and has 64MB RAM with 128MB ROM. As far as storage expansion, the P527 provides TransFlash/microSD slot. The cons about this phone is it only supports EDGE connection.

    I would love to have a phone with GPS, I think it would be a very cool feature to have. Not sure if it would be mandatory to have but most def. an interesting feature to be able to say you have.
