Asus calls it HDTV suite, but it sounds like a spin-off HD scalar with a built-in SD tuner. The Asus HD scaler takes any input from s-video, component, DVI, VGA, or HDMI and upscales the source up to resolution of 1920×1200 for your computer monitor. It also has NTSC and Pal tuner to turn your monitor into an instant TV with picture in picture function.

They probably never heard of ATSC tuner huh? So what is the point of this product anyway? To get around non-HDCP compliant monitor from HDCP sources. Asus didn’t release price information along with the announcement.
