ASUS F6V Series brings new sense to laptops

If you’ve ever thought your laptop was missing something, perhaps the ASUS F6V Series laptop is the right choice for you. After being revealed at Project 2008 in Las Vegas last week, this portable smells–literally. It’s a laptop with a scent and you can pre-order your own on Amazon right now.

Featured at the Microsoft “Spotlight on PC Fashion” Internet cafe and media lounge, the F6V comes in several different colors including pink, blue, green and black and features four different scents including grass, floral, ocean and cologne. But it’s not just a gimmicky gadget. This laptop delivers with a 13.3-inch LCD screen, an ATI HD 3470 graphics card, fingerprint authentication, an HDMI port, a 1.3 megapixel web cam and more.

Another interesting aspect is the ergonomic palm rest that is made from carbon fiber and is much tougher than standard palm rests. Additional specs include an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 4GB memory, 320 GB hard drive and it is bundled with Windows Vista Home Premium. You can expect to pay $1,299 for this scent-filled laptop.
