ASUS has officially announced their video card based on NVIDIA’s new GeForce GT 430 GPU, and it’s the rather extravagantly finned but unwieldily named ASUS ENGT430/DI/1GD3. A low-profile card with VGA, DVI and HDMI outputs, the new card has 1GB of DDR3 memory, a 700MHz engine clock and 128-bit memory interface, along with the GT 430′s 96 CUDA cores.

That, ASUS say, is good enough to drive up to a 2560 x 1600 display from the DVI port. The card PCB itself measures 6.3 x 2.8 inches, and ASUS throw in two brackets – one regular, one low-profile – to suit whatever case you’re using.
Finally there’s a special fan design which ASUS ambitiously describe as “dust proof” and reckon will extend the life of the card by up to 25-percent. It’ll go on sale this week, price tba.
