ASUS Eee PC 1015P/PE gets FCC teardown

ASUS' new Eee PC 1015P/1015PE has shown up at the FCC for a quick dismantling, and it brought its user manual along with it.  The 10.1-inch netbook made its debut at CeBIT 2010 a few months back, promising up to 14hrs of runtime from the standard 6-cell battery and – on certain models – USB 3.0 connectivity.

The FCC photos don't exactly show us anything unusual; inside is the expected Intel Atom processor, which we know is paired with 1GB of RAM and a 160GB hard-drive.  Connectivity includes WiFi b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, along with VGA, USB 2.0, a memory card reader and audio in/out; the display is a 1024 x 600 panel.

No word on when we could expect the Eee PC 1015P/PE to drop on US soil, nor what sort of price it might command.
