ASUS Chromebook C300 goes up for pre-order, too

Following the smaller C200, ASUS has also put its slightly larger and more expensive C300 Chromebook up for pre-order, targeting those who want a bigger display and a greater storage capacity. The estimated shipping time is "end of May."

Unlike the 11.6-inch C200, the C300 Chromebook offers a 13.3-inch display with the same paltry 1366 x 768 resolution. Under the hood lies an Intel Celeron (Bay Trail) dual-core N2830 processor and a couple gigabytes of RAM.

That particular model comes with 16GB of internal storage, but there is also a model available with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, giving buyers more options. Accompanying it all is Bluetooth 4.0 and 802.11ac WiFI.

There's an SD card slot for extra storage, as well as a single USB 3.0 and a single USB 2.0 port. HDMI is available for use with a monitor or TV, and there's a 720p webcam above the display. For the larger size, you're looking at $329.
