Asus has just announced their new T500 3.5G High Speed PC Card. The card promises speeds of up to 3.5Mbps and unlike other cards can also allow you to make voice calls from the card.
The T500 will operate on GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 and WCDMA 2100/1900/850. The maximum download will be capped at 3.5Mbps while upload will be only 384kbps.
With these kinds of speeds, you’ll be able to connect to the internet anywhere with speeds that will rival many WiFi hotspots. No word yet on pricing or availability.
