Android has potential as a Windows replacement on desktops. Not quite there with the 2.2/2.3 release, but I suspect 4.0 will look much better when it gets released.

Depends. If this code is compatible with NDK maybe it can be compiled for x86. Intel was quite unsuccesful with x86 Android.

why would there be intel chip with android?
Intel eats a lot of power unlike ARM

Finally… I have no idea what that means but I hope that now developers can now make better and more stable apps for android

I hate to be overly optimistic but I think android is becoming a more stable and easier to use platform.
