The DriveWire is a product I could really use. I tend to have some… difficulties with computes. I kill them. It’s only after everything I hold near and dear is gone that I remember I didn’t back anything up and I’ve lost it all.

DriveWire is a cloning device for your hard drive and it works via USB (as does everything these days). The EZ Gig II Software, which is “a bootable CD” lets you connect through the HDD adapter and is compatible with any operating system.

The best part is that it only costs $39.99 which I think is extremely reasonable. The only problem I’d have with this product is that it’s so small I’d probably lose it/forget where I put it.

Good product. Ideal for upgrading a notebook harddrive. The documentation could be better. It does not describe all of the features of the product. To upgrade a hardrive, I would recommend to not install the software in the OS, but to just boot of the CD and run it in that mode without entering the OS.
