Slashgear, you left out one thing Apple change on that homepage to intensionally not let anyone see that message when first enter the website. Apple has change their coding to resize their homepage that no matter what resolution your screen is, It will resize that homepage images so that user will not see the footer or statement all the way in the bottom unless they scroll down.

THey are still up to their tricks, as has been pointed out on other web sites, they have coded the page so it never shows up unless you deliberately scroll down even though the page does not look like there is anything more to see.
