Selling a phone that looks identical to the older one and it’s best new feature, siri, literally won’t give you the time of day outside the USA i’m sure didn’t help them over there.

There are many great and sometimes better phones out there than the iphone. Samsung Galaxy is very popular in Europe. The US phone market is more locked and provider driven while the Europen market is more open and consumer driven.

You know, it could be very well that people are getting tired of the iPhone. Like the iPhone popularity is sinking for example….? In several European countries, the Lumia 800 has outed the iPhone as the top seller. Maybe People want that phone /more/ than the iPhone. But wait, that could never happen because Apple products /never/ get less popular.

I live in Belgium, and the fact that there are other Smartphones than the iPhone is not yet printed in the minds…

Constantly purchasing the latest every year isn’t a great price model for struggling economies, particularly where capitalism isn’t du rigeur.
