NO consumer electronics manufacturer is in any way ‘green’, any effort to reduce environmental impact is PR, nothing more.

I really don’t subscribe to Greenpeace though. Apple does more damage through the planned cyclical component obsolescence it so heavily relies on and in destruction of life through Foxconn’s sweatshops.

Oh and yes by the way I’ve got a Mac and an iPhone, hypocrisy to the core.

The products are the greenest in the whole industry. When Apple was looking for a place to build the new facility I can’t recall any Greenpeace statement or suggestion to locate the data center on a “greener” place. No other company has done more or in so very short time as Apple did and keep doing regarding not only products but stores and Apple campus too.
