The appeals court found that the evidence wasn’t strong enough for an injunction, meaning that bar was too low to justify a ban. This could come back to bite Apple later as others attempt to ban Apple products in a similar manner. Now that sanity has been restored to the patent process in Australia, Apple’s main case against Samsung will continue to go forward with a trial sometime in 2012.
