Stop being an Apple pawn.  Siri ran on ALL iphones when it was an iphone app.  Developers had announced  Android and Blackberry siri apps.  Then, Apple bought the company, yanked the app and then limited to just iphone 4S.  There’s no hardware restrictions.

Apple had to give the iPhone 4S a “gimmicky-like” feature because the 4S is really not much of an upgrade. Faster CPU and better camera.  That’s about it.  The had to give it something “flashy” to make people think twice about.  ”Oh look! It has this pretty cool feature!”  That’s it.  Since if it was on all devices, the 4S would (hardly) be an upgrade.

That is why Siri is only on the 4S.  It’s to make the 4S look like a larger upgrade than it actually is.
