Apple is a mean and powerful company which wants it’s monopoly in all products it produces (other companies invent and produce on his behalf). With profit margin of 40-50 % on each of it’s products apple is easily making more money out of stupid people

SUN released updates many months ago that would have blocked the JAVA hole, but Apple failed (refused?) to release the update. Closed ecosystems do not always protect the consumer.

Well, duh. A security firm sets up a web site designed to appear to be a malware command and control center–and Apple takes it to be a malware command and control center and tries to have it shut down. Obviously, this is evidence that Apple wants to “kill the messenger.”

Lol ^^^^^ did you guys read the article? JAVA was infected. I’m pretty sure that JAVA is owned by SUN not Apple. They did take a long time to release a update but maybe you should think about how vulnerable Java can make a machine.

When I first read about this malware supposedly detected by Dr. Web I said that they are the ones who wrote the virus. Just think, why would anybody starts looking for malware, when it is not suppose to exist? What are the chances of encountering it randomly? Even without their server been involved it is extremely suspicious. Now, it is an iron clad fact that they are who created this malware in the first place.

So the Apple god can bleed… Rather than strike at the entity that made Apple bleed, Apple goes for the entity that informs people about the severity of the wound. Most of the Apple fundies will write it off the same way all religious fundamentalists do — by coming up with some ridiculous rationalization. But the damage is done. Apple striking out so ineptly and pettily at Dr Web really mimics the behavior of a religious organization. It’s creepy.
