Now, this is probably just a rumor that will end up nowhere, but it seems there’s some buzz floating about that Apple will be updating their Time Capsule device shortly, ramping up the storage to 2 terabytes worth of space.
What’s strange about this is that Apple recently updated the Time Capsule and the Airport Extreme–just last month, in fact–so it seems rather unlikely we’d be seeing this update anytime soon.
But a tipster saw on a ClubMac promo box pic that the Time Capsule clearly has 2TB of space. So, I guess we’ll just have to take the wait and see approach on this one. Regardless, a roomier device would make sense–2 TB is what other storage companies have recently launched like Seagate and Western Digital.
