Android tablets are about to take over more than 50% of the tablet market, and Apple has been lying about their sales numbers for the past couple quarterly reports, the way Apple does is they never announce sell-through in any given quarter, they only announce “sales” which basically are devices they could have bought from themselves or orders that stores may have put in but not yet delivered even to the store, basically those are numbers of tablets that may have left the factory, that’s it. Apple has huge storage of unsold iPad2s which they produce in advance of the Christmas sales period.

well, for one thing, the world is in recession and the units are not subsidized by networks unlike iphones.. something has to give.. but ipad 3 will ‘change everything again’.. sigh..
