Its called competition and if the competition looks, feels, and works better then your offerings then sue….

Me thinks apple cannot surpass samsungs offerings so tries to ban them selling better tech….

What a crock, half of the patents are pathetic, its like one car manufacturer banning another because it has a round steering wheel, or four wheels…

A phones a phone it makes phone calls etc etc, these blanket patents need to be removed or unenforceable and apple to to innovate and get back in the race.

Don’t you see. If Apple copies from other they are “providing best possible customer experience”. If others copy it is “trademark violation” or “patent violation”. This is totally logical. /s

On half of the apple patents the most important thing seems to be the concept picture of the UI. Which is from technological point of view (patents were meant to protect technological innovation), most irrelevant part of the patent. Patents should be only to protect real technological innovation.

Example: In my mind is totally okay to patent the circuitry design, which makes capacitive multitouch touchscreen to work. It is not okay to patent the concept of multitouch touch screen. Again it would be okay to patent the exact technology by which you identify and intepret multitouch gestures. It is not okay to patent the concept of using multitouch gestures on a screen.

Simply put concept patents should be made illegal. If you have not gone through the trouble of actually developing an exact technology or method of doing something, you should not be awarded a patent.

P.S. this is going to bite apple. They are making a huge PR error. Samsung is well liked in europe and blocking them from market just makes people hate apple, not buy their product. Plus I’m very sceptic about getting this though. Even the german court order was preliminary injunction. Meaning Apple didn’t win anything yet. Court just said, that to avoid more possible damages to Apple, Samsung should stop selling their tablet UNTIL court has decided, if there actually is an violation by Samsung. So court can very well decide, that Apples case is baseles and rule in Samsung favor.

I just païd $21.87 for an ïPad 2 – 64 G.B and my boyfrîend loves his Pänasoniic Lumíx GF 1 Camera that we got for $38.76 there arriving tomorrow by U P S.I will never pay such expensive retail prices in stores again. Especially when I also sold a 40 inch L.E.D T.V to my boss for $657 which only cost me $62.81 to buy.
