LOL should I say another “LOL” lol. Reinvented TVs? ahhahahah SmartTVs have already been in the market. SONY got XMB, Samsung got Beda alike firmware for its TVs.
Seriously? IOS for a TV? it is already hard enough to teach people to use a few functions on standard TVs let alone teaching them on how to use a computer like TV.TV = made simple and easy to use.
SmartTV = harder to use with more functionality
IOS TV  = Geeks only??? lol

Who would be dumb enough to buy a TV that cost $3000-$4000 as much while they can buy a TV that cost only $1000 for watching TV and their favourite programs. Seriously Samsung, Sony and LG will shoot apple in the foot for TV patents :)

Tv’s are infinitely easier to use then PC’s or macs. TV’s need a greater ability to mesh with other products, something apple is only good at in their eco system. 

The best LCD panels made right now come from Samsung, I don’t see how Apple pissing in Samsugs cheerios is going to help this cause. 

Can apple make a TV, yes
Can apple sell that TV, yes
will it take over the market, no
will it do better then the sony, samsung and LG of the world, no

Apples TV would only appeal to people who buy all things apple and even then I find it hard to believe they will invest the kind of money apple will require for the set to maintain their current profit margins.
