I have already noticed that when i have a PDF attachment on my iPhone or iPad and I select the “Open in . . .” button, my Dropbox App is not on the list of the available Apps in which I can open the PDF.

brother, I gave up my iPhone 4 a long time ago due to how Apple runs it’s business. It just too hard to turn a blind eye to support any product created out of a moral corruption and unethical dealings. In the end, Apple’s overall agenda is world domination of singular products with no competition. Anyone who owns a Apple product with a hint of awareness on how this corporation ‘contributes’ to society, they might want to look at themselves in the mirror and see how they’re making the world better.

So then why hasn’t it been enforced in the however years leading up to now? I’m all for the rules being followed and enforced evenly, but that would require them to enforce them evenly, always.

They have to be fair… We already know they have the policy, so it must be enforced evenly.

I would be willing to bet competing companies/devs pushed the issue. (Hey, thats not fair to us, look at dropbox.)

What about soundcloud? Most Ios music creation apps include soundcloud functions. It also offers a premium service.

That’s one way to deal with Apple’s app advantage. One by one, boot them all out of the app store as Apple writes their own competing functionality.

this is disturbing. I already look at my iphone with disdain, but keep coming back to it because its a well made product. But stuff like this will keep me away for good.
