next iPad will be coming exactly the same time next year…….till that time…..ipad2/3 owners will see android tabs rocking the planet with far superior technical specs……..this is disappointing!

Likes: Better display, better camera, LTE support, good battery life, better graphics capability

Dislikes: Still high prices, just a minor processor upgrade, more thickness and weight, no microSD/SD lot, closed OS limiting customizability

Apple – A horrendous company that has somehow managed to stay afloat for years and appeal to a mass of misguided people. They specialize in taking existing technology, making it all shiny and fancy looking, and re-selling it for double the price. Ironically, their slogan is “Think Different”.

Their latest and greatest gadget that’s getting all the attention is, of course, the iPhone, which is basically comparable to any high-quality $150 phone, except it has “innovative” touch screen technology, and it sells for $600.

Apple couldn’t quite figure out how to make an operating system, so they just stole the freeBSD kernel and repackaged a bastardized version of it as Mac OS X. It’s funny that Apple brags that it’s “Unix-based”, since no one with experience in Unix would ever use a Mac.

Apple frequently runs “clever” ads. Although they’ve made a ton of them, all the ads boil down to how Windows has viruses and crashes all the time. Apple also have an enormous, cult-like fanbase that like to remind us of these things every five seconds. Apple fanboys are generally smug, annoying, and arrogant, despite the fact that most of them don’t know jack shit about computers.

Steve Job – The ritual of taking an apple, and while still in the palm of your hands, shove your arm up your partner’s anus all the way up to the shoulders. Once reached as far as the arm can go, release the apple, and pull your hand back out. If done properly, the apple should be securely planted in the partner’s stomach.

You know, I can double the resolution of iPad2 if I just put on my reading glasses. The better screen is not enough to call it “revolutionary”. Neither is a faster chip. Those are “expected” upgrades to any device. Revolutionary is reserved for the real “Game-Changers” which change the way we interact, use and handle technology (As the first iPhone did with touchscreen technology) or open up a whole new niche for tablets that was never thought of before. THAT is the definition of revolutionary. I am sending Apple a dictionary this afternoon.

So Apple’s definition of “Revolutionary” is “Incrementally Better”.
Haptic Touch Response technology would have been revolutionary. It doesn’t even support their own pride and joy, Siri. Planned obsolescence rules again.
