Its like our androids are basicly emulators… And suffer performance because of it. I bet the results would be pretty darn impressive. Not that I’m trying to discredit Apple’s A6 or anything. I just wish all these fast new SoCs weren’t bogged down by an OS that ‘s fundamentally flawed, the same way that so many super X86 desktop processors were bogged down by Windows in the past.

It’s just that Android with its Dalvik virtual machine is a Humpty Dumpty rolly polly obesely slow OS, that needs quad cores to match the performance of dual core ipad2.

Imagine what iPad3 would do! It will eat tegra3 with Android for breakfast.
