Still, Apple isn’t the only doing all the suing. They’re both suing each other, they win some they lose some. I still believe that Apple isn’t all bad, but we’ll see what the future brings.

Would really hate to see a ban on Galaxy Note II. Apples marketing is very well done, I’m always surprised how many people flock for new iPhones even though it has maybe 3 new features. Thanks for clearing it up. :-) Good discussion.

Was there a device like the iPhone before it’s release in 2007? No I don’t think so. Before Retina display, you were all satisfied with lousy 480×800 displays and such. Now screen resolution is another factor people look at when buying mobile devices, thanks to Apple.

Maybe other companies don’t do marketing like Apple does, doesn’t mean that they can’t. Apple doesn’t “claim” to own anything. They either invent, or in most cases, take the technology that’s already there and make it infinitely better and in the process put their name on it.

Take Siri, sure we had voice search and such on phones, but nothing close to a voice assistant. In my opinion, Google’s Voice Assistant is better than Siri. Samsung’s S Voice is a gimmick, proven by the comparison videos you’ll find on YouTube. It just isn’t ready.

Being an Android guy, yes I wouldn’t hate to see phones like Galaxy Note II banned. But you can’t just go to court and sue someone without good evidence. Which is why I’m still surprised to see so many people bitching about Apple, making it out to be the bad guy here. I suppose you all want Samsung because Apple has become “too big” eh. Hm

Apple products maybe higher priced, but people still buy them for a reason. They aren’t the only ones with products with a higher than average price. Quality speaks for itself. Have you ever seen a Windows laptop as well built as a Macbook? I didn’t think so. I’m all for Android and Windows, but when people start bitching because Apple won the law suit, it really grinds my gears.

I will use whatever the F&^k I want to F8*&king to use. I will rip that sh*^t apart, basterdise it, frankenstein it, and F*&ing create whatever the F&^k I want with whatever existing tech that is out there!!!!

By the way did you not notice last week that samsung was investing billions into a new plant in Texas. Don’t think a whole lot of korean jobs will be in that plant. Seems like a whole lot of U.S. workers will benefit. So maybe you should reconsider your statement. Is samsung creating more blue collar jobs in the U.S. or apple? I know for certain that apple is doing a bang up job creating employment in china. Helping china own more even more of the U.S.

I mean can you imagine waaaay back when the wheel was invented. Literally the foundation furthering our land expeditions for over 5000 years.

I don’t think its really possible to patent a wheel per se, but you could patent a wheel that, say, had a 150% longer life-span on the road than most of its competitors. Of course, on that level we are talking about the underlying chemical structure of seminal components that make one wheel different from the other. Perhaps they use the same chemicals but just in varying percentages and consistencies.

So I’ll say that you can patent a variation on a theme. You absolutely cannot patent the Theme itself, even if you were the first to make it available to the public.

Apple has swiftly moved from opportunists to sinister evildoers out to screw the consumer. With Samsung out of the picture they have carte blanche and they have a history of taking full advantage of any and every situation.

Keep letting Apple rape anything it wants and you are going to find yourself paying $5 every time you fart in public because Apple has patented every variation of smell and sound involved in passing gastrointestinal gas.
