What about guys like me that bought the old brand new MacBook Pro three or four months ago before the NEW new MacBook pro shipped. I bought that great antiquated MacBook Pro thinking I would get myself one of those nice large screens to work with. And now I find out that you can’t hook up that gorgeous LED 24″ Cinema Display to an old MacBook Pro and to make things worse the old 23″ Cinema Display has been discontinued and Apple only offers refurbished units. So those missing connectors are not just a problem for New MacBook Pro customers but also for older ones.

I use it with a 30″ monitor at work and home and won’t replace my existing Macbook Pro until it arrives. Really big pita that’s also delayed the purchase of several other MBP’s here in our office due to the lack of adapter availability.
