What I’m saying is that it seems to be where apple is headed. They are going to repeat as before with previous models. iPhone followed by iPhone 3G with faster network speeds followed by iPhone 3GS with a faster processor and memory.

With the timely arrival of 4G networks on verizon and T mobile I’m thinking apple will repeat this pattern with iPhone 4, they will release an iPhone 4G and maybe down the road a 4GS. I doubt apple would release an LTE compatible iPhone without relabeling it as a completely new model.

I would love a 7 inch iPad. The iPod touch is not an iPad. It’s an iPhone without a network. The current iPad is a little clumsy because it’s so large.

And to bartmann you are describing two different technologies there, Anyway T-mobile will be getting LTE first, and iPhone will come to T-mobile first as well. But it will be the iPhone 4 for now.
