Apple iWork Apps Available NOW for iPhone and iPod touch

The world is about to change via a single app set for Apple mobile users - Apple iWork for iOS, their fabulous productivity suite including Keynote, Pages, and Numbers. This set of apps is also available for iPad and iPad 2, of course, now available as an update for FREE! Users on platforms that have not yet purchased any of the iWork apps will be able to today for $9.99 each. Each of these apps is quite established in the Mac OSX world, now it's time to bring on the smaller screens!

Keynote, Pages, and Numbers are amongst the ranks in this set known collectively as iWork, each of them ultra-helpful and once you've used them, utterly indispensable. Let's have a quick look at each one of them as they stand at this very moment:

Keynote

Made for making presentations with animated charts and transitions between frames, this app will make everything from school projects to earnings reports with your multi-million dollar firm work like a snap. This app works straight from your mobile device's screen or via any number of connectors from your device to HDTV - looks great! Also of note is a separately available app for $.99 by the name of Keynote Remote, an app that allows you use your iPhone or iPod touch to remotely control a Keynote presentation as it plays on a separate Apple device.

Pages

This app Pages is what they call "the most beautiful word processor ever designed for a mobile device." Quite the claim! But of course Apple has the looks to back it up, and certainly the functionality. You'll be able to take advantage of your high-res Retina display on your iPod touch or iPhone 4 and you can "Smart Zoom" into wherever you tap your cursor, zooming back out each time you're done.

Numbers

Finally Numbers is an app that takes multi-touch gestures and an intelligent keyboard and makes creating fantastical spreadsheets and charts a cinch. Very similar to pages in that you're easily able to edit and change your documents, Numbers uses Smart Zoom again and makes use of over 250 "easy-to-use" functions. Sounds fabulous, yes?
