Apple iPhone OS 4.0 Introduces Folders

So, the hits just keep coming. Looks like Apple wants to make sure that you don't have to use page after page of endless application icons anymore. If you're someone that likes to keep things simple, then Folders is exactly what you're looking for. It shouldn't be that confusing, as it does exactly what it sounds like. You put applications into a folder, and they're right there for easy access, whenever you need them.

The basic concept is centered around simplicity. If you are a social networking fan, go ahead and make a folder for that, and put all your application icons in the folder. Access the folder when you need to, access your application, and then go about your business. You can have as many folders as you want, and as many as applications in the folder as you want. If you want the folder in your app tray, you can do that, too. You can also rename your folders as well. Customization.

We're still covering the event, so stay frosty. More news coming up.
