Your history has been hit by the Apple distortion field. I’ll tell the story, for the nth time. Jobs, like everyone else in the valley knew that Xerox had developed some very interesting technologies. Jobs allowed Xerox to buy 100,000 shares of Apple pre-ipo in exchange for a tour. That’s it. Apple NEVER paid a license for the gui. Xerox sued Apple in 1990 for copying the gui and lost. MS saw that Apple didn’t pay any license so it went ahead with it’s own gui. That’s the real history. I wish more Apple fans would learn it. You seriously discredit yourselves when you don’t even know the history of your favorite company.

We (Americans) pride ourselves as the most educated and civilized people in the world…. However, when we visit all these blogging sites, we get really disappointed after seeing the reality which is very different what we would like to believe….
We live in the Internet age. With a little bit of intelligence and common sense to weed out bs from the fact/truth and few Google searches, one can find out a lot of “real” information. In all fairness, please do some more research before spreading the wrong info or what appears to be blinded religious beliefs…

In all fairness, please do some more research before you bash Samsung, Apple, or anybody for that matter. Remember, what goes around comes around… Apple should be respected for what it has accomplished but the (mobile) technology did not begin in 2007 with iPhone as a lot of “young (25 and below)” people believe or were made to believe by marketing and clueless articles… Marketing is essential but it should not be the technology itself. If that happens, it’s not technology anymore. In that case, it’s just a big hype and trend that has very little practical or real value and will quickly evaporate with the arrival of the next “hype” or “trend”… You probably don’t know Sony Walkman… but we are sure you know about Nike, Converse, and skinny jeans… and how fast they come in and go out

Samsung worldwide “copier” of all technologies. Samsung stole technologies from japanese companies (Do you remember sanyo) and then started stealing the ideas of all other companies.

BUT the legal user of GUI is APPLE computers.Xerox marketing executives didnt know how to market GUI. Everybody else just copied without legal liabilities.

We all know this. Companies just look what Apple is doing then they copy it. It’s just like Microsoft Windows. Microsoft used to be all DOS. Apple came along with the Graphical User Interface then OMGGTFO Microsoft THEN came out with Windows. Same shit different decade.
