What a trash article. Are you on drugs? For day to day use, this does nothing more than slap a couple of cameras on and reduce the weight slightly. Apple has done nothing with the os, which is something the ipad needs to differentiate it from been just a giant iphone. Honeycomb was revolutionary not this. You have to hand it to them - only apple could re-release a product and make it the news of the day/month. Heck, even their white iphone news made headlines. It makes you wonder if apple buys publicity.

Sure I will be upgrading, but get your heads out of your arse!

I was just concerned that Apple might do something groundbreaking, and they didn't. The new iPad certainly looks nice, and I'll recommend it to many people, but the Xoom fits my needs better.

For me, the killer app is email. If you use Gmail, you really should be using Android -- any Android device handles Gmail 100x better than iOS. However, if you use any other email provider, then email is about the same on both devices and you need to move down to other criteria.

What do you mean by "spending that much more for the Xoom"? If you only want wifi it's a bit more (and you should wait a little while for the wifi-only Xoom), but the prices for 3G are virtually identical PLUS you can get $200 off if you want to sign a contract with the Xoom.

Is this game by apple for apple fanboys so they keep spending money for some smaller updates???
-RAM is only 512MB compared to 1GB for Xoom.(This may limit/control future iOS upgrade for sure)
-No 4G support (Need new iPad3 for that, spend more money on i*!!!, LOL)
-No USB
-No Flash(Expected),but really need for pc/tablet experience
-No SD Slot to expand memory. (Go Ahead spend some more to get bigger memory iPadx, LOL)
-Display resolution inferior to Xoom and same as iPad1
-No Widgets which are much more usable for tablets.
-Extra money for HDMI adapter while is is part of Xoom
-Hack, Camera doesn't have flash support and front is VGA only
-Xoom has same battery life even with all of those supported.

All features like Duel processor, front/rear camera, Gyro, HDMI, USB, Flash support,
Widget support, 1GB RAM,SD Card slot to expand memory,4G support, better resolution display are already part of Xoom.

Why are you feeling better about it now? I just want to see if I can gather up more points to justify spending that much more for the Xoom, or something else. I am on the fence. The price is right.

Well, they certainly crushed them in 2010, if that's what the post means. However, the iPad 2 doesn't appear to be all that impressive. I was a little nervous about my Xoom purchase with this on the horizon, but I'm feeling much better about it now.
