applicable only when native OS browser is used and applicable only for USofA. for instance, i never use the native browser in any of my mobile devices. recommend the same to others too. so this research is bunk. also since it covers only usa, its even more bunk. gnite.

Opera, Dolphin and Firefox does count as Android? Or only the native browser?

This only takes into account the 3 websites dedicated to iPhans that no one else cares about. The other 40% were just bots…

Have to remember that Android browsers regularly fake browser signatures to get the desktop version of a page e.g. Dolphin HD.

To me it shows interestingly how much more the iPad is being used for internet access than the iPhone. If not for the iPad you would expect the Android and iOS figures to be atleast the same. I’d be interested in seeing the current split between mobile, tablet and desktop browsing.

I assume some of these are other mobile browsers which identify themselves as iOS in order to get the proper touchscreen optimized pages that some only offer for iOS
