Well, it’s not a big surprise that not a single manufacturer want to rely on Apple’s word regarding charging for their patented SIM technology. Should Apple change their mind after introducing the technology to the market and everyone are stuck up with additional fees, and by now everyone knows how much of a patent troll Apple can be..

Silly season in the patent business. Patent on a drawer suitable for one specific object. How is this obvious idea considered inovation?

That is why you cannot patent GENERIC sim adaptors, read the patent, it has a specific size and method.

There exists already plenty of SIM adapters, much older that 2007, that match the Apple patent description. How troll patent this can be granted ?
