try using your own money to build these tablets. Foxconn has among the highest paid factory work forces un China, but there is no repercussion for unsafe and unregulated working hours. The government does nothing, while Apple gets a bad rap for not exerting enough inflience, which is all they can do- exert influence. last i checked, if workers her in the USA were being taken advantage of, it isn’t the car manufacturers who are responsible for poor working conditions at steel mills. uni lawsuits, and huge mknetary penalties are levied agaimst the employer. Foxconn’s penalties are merely black and white print on US tech publications…

i too will be more socially conscious of labor violation. next holiday season, i will check to see if the Macy’s cashier is being paid overtime and not doing more than 12 hour work days before I buy that sweater.

This is what happens when apple insists of having cheap labor and 60% profit margins.
One of the reasons I will never buy anything apple.
