Apple is so pathetic!! They claim that they innovate, but got caught copying other companies many times. This facetime ripoff isn’t the first. E.g. the swiss clock design, “creating” something like pandora.com, making their phone screens larger, or their tablet screens smaller — not to mention their early violations.

Slightly more pathetic are the iSheep, who deny all of it.

They make security tools. What apple is actually in trouble for is underlying security patents used in face time nothing to do with the video itself or anything like that but techniques they used to secure it.

it is not just the menus the Creative sued on and by the way Creative are a well known mp3 player manufacturer- obviously you don’t understand what patent troll means. Also Apple chose to settle with Creative which you conveniently leave out but long before that Apple were suing Microsoft so really them choosing to patent has nothing to do with Creative at all

Do you really think this? Were you just not paying attention over the past decade when patent trolls were lining up to insist they’d invented bits of every successful product Apple popularized (like Creative insisting it owned menus on an MP3 player), the very thing that got Apple to begin patenting everything?

So now, the first time Apple sues its most egregious backstabbing partner Samsung, you think the result is the cause, and ascribe religious significance to it via “karma”?

As much as I hate Apple and want to enjoy seeing them get a kick in the nuts, I still hate these verdicts, on any side of the fence I hate them. I wish that all judges would invalidate these bs technology patents. The only people that win here are lawyers. Consumers will lose every time a verdict like this is passed.

They say karma is a bitch and it has bit Apple hard. They are so quick to sue everybody for violating their patents, but they have been violating others as well. Now it’s funny how Apple can say they refuse to pay a company for something that was not invented by that company, and I agree, but that also means they cannot sue for Siri because it was not invented by them
