It is similar in look to an iMac, though if we are touting that claim then every CRT monitor EVER MADE is a copy of the iMac. The don’t own that shape since they were a pretty nothing company at that point with crappy hardware. However, why would they sell the trademark if they weren’t allowed to? Proview sound like a bunch of morons who dont understand copyright laws in any country (since apple bought ipad rights from fujitsu and other companies before it launched it’s own iPads)

Proview’s iPAD looks like a bleeping first gen iMac! What a joke. Now who is copying whom?

Additionally, why didn’t Proview contact Apple when it was made public that Apple bought the rights to the iPad name from it’s ‘rogue’ subsidiary? Sounds to me that Apple acted in good faith, and that Proview is merely trying to milk Apple for more money. (I guess if one milks an Apple they get Apple juice, don’t they? :-) ) As much as I hate Apple’s business practices and would like to see them get some of their own medicine, it really does appear that this is just a fleecing attempt.
