In actuality, they are doing more harm to the child and their families, because they may not get to eat, have nice clothes, or even afford a house because of this. The US government and people these days have no concept of what it is like to live in other places. It sometimes saddens me to say I am from the US when I talk to foreigners. Yes, they may be children, but they are probably more capable to do the work than most people in the US.
