You missing the point, it’s that they could easily include those features on their older models they just choose not to (and choose to be a douche). By comparison does Microsoft artificially limit your windows OS’s features because you running a core 2 duo instead of an i5?

Not impressed at all to be honest. Bought my ipad 2 not a year ago and
already it is losing support. As for the Samsung GS3, total winner in my
book.
Completely smokes my old 4s in every category, from business
applications to S-voice. It really feels like you’re holding a piece of
Star Trek technology in your hands. Been playing with mine for about a
week now and it has changed the way i look at Android. Apple will no
doubt answer the GS3 with a piece of technology art themselves soon, but
for now i am very happy with my little quadcore wonder :)

They’re not forcing anyone to do anything. Most of the functions that are “missing” can be replaced with apps already in the app store. If you want them integrated, get a newer phone, but no gun is to your head.

Couldn’t agree more. The 3GS was released in 2009, name any other manufacturer that supports and updates a phone for so long? So many iPhone users expect content for free. It’s been 3 years of free upgrades, and it’s not stopped with iOS6, it’s just limited in what it offers. It’s not unfair to say it’s time to upgrade if you want the latest features. Admittedly iPhone 4 users have a year less, but it’s still better than you’ll find elsewhere.

I think that Apple had the vision a while back to keep their products slim and sleek. They also like to keep their products small aswell. I think by making the iphone 5 bigger is a mistake, but than again its all about preference.
I dont like those stupid big and long phones…I like the small screen the the iPhone 4 has…imo its actually the perfect size, why would they mess with that?? Well it doesnt matter, I will never buy an iPhone 5 I guess Im stuck with the iPhone 4S whenever I upgrade from my iPhone 4.
Its not about the size really, but its all about the look of the phone

My girlfriend said the exact same thing. Then she used one for about a week and completely changed her mind about the screen size. She can’t go back to anything smaller than a 4″ display.

Besides, don’t most women carry purses? Size of a phone should be a non-issue, unless you’ve got some itty bitty hands. ;-P But I hear ya. It’s a good thing we have different choices in the market.

I think its BS too! Its not like they dont make tons of money already. To be honest, I will not go out and buy the iphone 5 or the 4s just because of some missing features, because ios6 doesnt look like it had that many changes to it. I was expecting something “WOW” Also I like the look of the iphone 4 and 4S, I have heard that they are changing the screen size of the next iPhone. Why would I want anything bigger than what I have…the samsung galaxy is an ugly phone because of its size.

Your point? When you say other OS’s what are you trying to get at? Unlike the iOS older versions of Android had features iOS lacked. How long did Apple take with adding notification on the lockscreen? Hmmm…what about ‘facetime’ which Apple endlessly hyped up in commercials which could only be used on WiFi at the time? As I recall, many Android phones during that time could do it over 3G. And you wanna talk about updates? pssshhhh

You’re about as ridiculous as the impatient idiots who are always moaning about how they don’t have ICS. Gingerbread is pretty feature rich as is and isn’t required. Yeah, doesn’t take much of an effort on Apple’s part when the iOS has looked the same since 2007. Especially when you trickle down features it should’ve already had from the get-go.

What a load of bullshit yes some of those features may not work correctly on the older hardware but most would work perfectly well they just trying to force people to upgrade. I look forward to the jailbroken tweaks allowing most of these features on the older hardware. Apple are such douches it’s amazing.

Apple is smart. It’s time for iPhone 3GS and 4 users to get their upgrades anyways for the new iPhone coming out this fall. I have the 4s so I won’t lose out on any iOS 6 features.
