Here’s the problem – we get a corporate discount.  I saw the Black Friday ads.  For the most part the corporate discount is superior to the Black Friday discount and Apple doesn’t stack discounts.  So he could walk in there any time he wants and, for the iMac, save over $200 instead of the $100-something Black Friday offers.

If you get a company discount you’re wasting your time with Black Friday at Apple.

She is only 18. She is working at the moment and will be paying for the computer herself, but unfortunately this will eat into her saving immensely.
There is not a lot of selection or great deals in the SW region of WA on this particular Apple product.
Could you please be kind enough to make this computer a little more affordable as funds for her are going to be very tight.
She would be able to use another type of computer for her studies but we have been assured that your computer is by far the best. I am aware that Apple are a very reputable company and we would feel safer knowing we have purchased a product we can trust. We look forward to doing business with you in the near future.

You’re much better off buying refurbished and get 15% off. The best they’ll give is maybe $100 of an iMac. Maybe even 50$ off something else. But expect 10 bucks here or there. Nothing to get excited about.
