Question, are they copying component parts of an existing patent?

They want to compete so bad with Kinect I am sure this will be packed into Apple TV.

Not sure how they intend to obtain channel line ups. Smart companies aren't going to let them turn into a monopoly without a fight.

Clearly Apple ignores the history of companies like AT&T and Microsoft. You get too much control the lawyer's swoop in like the gulls in Finding Nemo... Mine, mine, mine, mine... Ten years later their still suing you for success.

Francis Macdougall and I invented video gesture control technology from 1986 onward, and we invented the 3D gesture control that is the basis of what is in the Kinect back in 2000. With our company GestureTek we have invented, pioneered, patented, evangelized and licensed this form of technology to the tech world in a myrid of ways over the years including to Sony for the EyeToy and Microsoft for XBOX video gesture control. This really just looks like an extention of that technology with a few interesting twists. ......Vincent John Vincent ....
