In fact it fixed it the same way the T-Virus fixes death, it made it worse. That’s only in some cases, in some cases it actually did fix the problem, but it seems that in a large majority of the cases, it did nothing.

So I would assume that if it fixed the issue for some, made it worse for others, and did nothing for most, then it probably is a software/firmware issue, and not a hardware issue, but I’ll be honest I don’t know dick about Macs other than that I want one. No one else is entirely certain whether it’s a hardware or software issue, and most don’t care, they just want it fixed.
So, if you are experiencing this issue, and have considered getting the supposed fix, do a backup first, so you can restore to where you are now, in case you are one of the unlucky ones where it only makes things worse. Otherwise, what could it hurt? You might actually end up with your machine being fixed.

hi- I can guarantee that a software patch will make things better, worse, or the same and that any problem may be a hardware or software problem. I can especially say something about something whether I know about it or not and if I own it or do not. It is especially safe to write about stuff when no one else knows what is going on either. That way I can’t be called on anything just in case I said anything definite. In my next life I want to be either a politician, lawyer, or an up and coming HMO doctor. Being a HMO doctor is the best of both worlds because the bean counters give me a computer to use, it doesn’t exactly solve anything and I can click buttons on it to look impressive to patients and when I do something someone else collects the checks and I get a percentage of the cut. The best part is that the lawyers can keep my patients busy while I can click more button in the front office. Rambling on like this also gives me a lot of potential for being a Internet blog reporter and if I do it enough then I can become bigger than the New York Times, which is a liberal evil monster that Fox News invented to keep things fair and balanced. Stay tune for my next report on: Zombies: Do they write blogs or read them, or maybe both or neither. And: Internet reporting: You don’t have to spend a lot of money to get a degree and practice it so maybe being an Internet reporter is better than being a lawyer or doctor, but it is probably the same as being a politician.
