App Store changes detailed at WWDC 2014

All the amazing keeps coming at WWDC 2014, where Apple is making big change after massive upgrade. One of their biggest updates is being made to the App store, where both Developers and users will get a lot more from the app portal.

We will now get a better look at trending apps in the App Store with iOS 8, making the actual store more contextual. If something like the World Series is happening, and there are apps that are seeing more downloads than usual for it, you'll get the chance to find those quickly and easily from within the App Store.

Developers can also upload short videos about their app in addition to photos, much like we see on the Play Store. App bundling will also let us download a few apps at a time, so all those Twitter clients you want to check out? You can — just cobble them together, then download!

Developers are also getting a utility called Test Flight, where beta testing of apps can be housed. If a Developer wants to open their cool new app up for our eyes ahead of launch, they can. It's a great way for us to get cool stuff, and Developers to get more feedback that they would have before.

Apple's WWDC keynote is still going on, and we're at Moscone West bringing you all the action. Be sure to bookmark our Apple portal for all the news this week, as WWDC rages on and news of neat new features pop up!
