Aopen MiniPC Duo MP965-D - Barebone powered by Santa Rosa

Aopen MiniPC Duo MP965-D barebone is one of the recent "Santa Rosa" based product. I think of it as the Mac Mini of the PC universe. It uses GM965 Express chipset and support Intel's Core 2 Duo CPU with 800Mhz FSB. The MP965-D uses Intel's GMA X3100 as its GPU.

As many other Santa Rosa based computer, the MiniPC Duo MP965-D features Intel Turbo memory to provide better system response. There is two memory slot and according to Aopen site, it only support up to 2GB of DDR2 SO-DIMM (533/667).

The barebone uses 2.5-inch SATA hard drive that usually found inside a laptop. Other features on MP965-D include Gigabit Lan, four port of USB 2.0, and one port of IEEE1394. It is now available in Japan for ¥51000 ($416).
