I’m totally against child pornography, as I think most people are. (This part assumes the child porn is being pushed from the US, which I am unsure of, or that Anonymous participants hack out of America). But Anonymous has still broken laws (if in the US, and laws of most 1st world countries), and I’m not sure you can say that destroying the right of due process and being held to the rule of law is somehow ok (these laws are present in the US & in the EU countries), it’s one group violating the rights of another group. It may sound okay until Anonymous decides that they don’t like your internet activity, then you want your rights enforced, but there’s no one there to do it. Do I think the child pornographers should be punished? Absolutely. Is vigilante justice the way to do it…in most cases, no! Because vigilante justice is always subject to the opinions and changing views of the one administering it. There is no consistency in the law this way, and supporting this (even though the result may be desirable) sets a very dangerous precedent.

Does this mean that they will stop posting porn on youtube links aimed at very young children?  Sesame street links and such?
