A quick note: you mean “3G” not “3D” in the Google Maps demo. It’s the speed of the data connection that’s being showcased. The maps are all 2D.

Well it did have the phone button on the screen and easy access to ones contacts list.

Lots of “stuff” on this device. It appears that the thing would be interesting to play with. But, can one also make a phone call on it? After all, that would be the primary reason I would be carrying one.
