Tablets are out for a while and strangely there still doesn’t exists a standard benchmark test for these gadgets.

Don’t trust benchmarks – tell me more about the user experience. As a consumer, I care for ease of use and a learning curve that is pretty small. And I bet Android makes it competitive enough.

I’ll wait till Anandtech does a review of it. Benchmarks for phones so far are very spotty at best and I cannot imagine that porting Android and benchmarks written for ARM arc. would be accurate.

In other words, I came away from this review thinking Oaktrail apparently runs warm and we yet know nothing about a direct comparison.

So in the benchmark point of view, oak trail in android tablets sucks. Intel should have name it ‘slowpoak’ trail android tablet. Give Intel a year or two to sell outdated harde and then improve its hardware. Maybe they will be at the same level as ARM in the third year. I hope there will be a AMD benchmark in the future aswell.
